CLOTHING

Due to space limitations, Hesed House is unable to accept used clothing donations, unless they are listed on our General or Immediate Needs Lists. The only exception to this policy is our accepting warm winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens, boots, face masks, scarves, and children's snow suits in all sizes (especially large through XXX-large sizes for men and women).

If you are bringing clothes listed on the Hesed House Needs List, please drop them off at our 659 South River Street building and ring the buzzer at the door (lettered B) below the Hesed House sign on the building.

Drop–off hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note that throughout the year, no gift–in–kind donations are accepted at the 680 South River Street location.

During the holiday season, new clothing and new toys only will be accepted at 680 South River Street, and the hours and days of drop–off operations will be posted on the website and on signage outside of the building.

If you would like to receive a year–end donation statement for tax purposes which will be mailed in January, please sign the donor log book in the lobby.
