Your group can help individuals and families transition into housing by providing a collection of basic items needed to move into a new home. From dishes to a laundry basket, many of these “little things” are essential for individuals and families moving into a new place, and not easy to afford after moving out of a homeless shelter.Your group can provide a huge need and source of encouragement by completing a Hesed Home Starter Kit!
Instructions
- Please fill out Hesed Home Starter Kit Application online. Or if you’d like you can download and print the application and turn in it in by fax (630-801-9759), e-mail (volunteer@hesedhouse.org), or mail (Hesed House, Attn: Hesed Home Starter Kit, 659 South River Street, Aurora, IL 60506).
- When the items on the list are collected, contact volunteer@hesedhouse.org to set up a time for someone from the group to drop off the kit at Hesed House.
